Technology and Innovative machines at NBEE

At NB Equipments & Engineering, (NBEE) we believe that maintaining our fleet amidst the rapid advancements in technology and market demands is crucial and updating it is a key selling point. As one of the youngest fleet owners in the ERD division, our simple strategy revolves around maintaining a fleet with an average equipment age of 10 years. This approach ensures that we consistently have the youngest fleet with the latest technology and innovative machines onboard. In the ESD division, we have partnered with leading manufacturers to provide top-quality equipment. We represent Horyong from Korea for Truck AWP and LGMG for self-propelled Boom and Scissors.

As always, NBEE places a strong emphasis on the technical aspects of cranes and project requirements. We focus on critical factors such as lifting capacity, rigging, and project-specific needs. Take, for instance, the Atal Setu project (MTHL Mumbai), where 70% of the construction activity took place in the sea or marine area. Cranes were deployed on barges for piling and lifting work, making crane stability and ground pressure crucial considerations in determining barge capacity. With our expertise, we assisted our client in making informed decisions regarding crane capacity, such as choosing between 250 or 150 MT, and ultimately optimizing costs for both cranes and barges.

Dealing with Competition

NB Equipments & Engineering
As regards our strategy for competing effectively, we are offering competitive pricing and positioning our brand strongly in the market. We have a simple strategy for FRANNA. We categorize the market into three segments: A, B, and C. FRANNA belongs to the A category, where customers prioritize safety and quality above all else. FRANNA is committed to meeting these standards, ensuring that its features and solutions align with the needs and expectations of our valued A-category customers.

Exploring new avenues is essential for our growth; we are keen to tap into the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) industry for crane rental services. We also plan to focus on local manufacturing for our Aerial Work Platform (AWP) business.

After-sales Services

We provide timely after-sales services and ensure the availability of spare parts, including for the international brands that we are representing. Leveraging our extensive experience and expertise, we have developed a comprehensive spare parts’ recommended list. We have also established a centralized spare parts warehouse in the suburbs of Mumbai to cater to our customers' needs, ensuring prompt and reliable support whenever required.

Skill Development and Training

Considering the significant growth anticipated in the sector, the main challenge is the availability of skilled manpower and resources. As the industry expands, the demand for skilled professionals is expected to soar, posing a potential bottleneck in the progress of projects. Addressing this challenge will be crucial to sustain the sector's growth momentum in the long run.

Since NBEE represents many brands, safety and skill development training programs for our clients' operators are a necessity and therefore an integral part of our organization’s culture. In fact, skilled operators and support staff form the backbone of our organization. We prioritize continuous training and development to ensure that our operators are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge. By providing frequent training sessions, we empower our operators to enhance their skills and stay updated with industry best practices.
