The products include components such as engines, hydraulic pumps, travel and swing devices, track rollers, and hydraulic cylinders—all sourced and produced at its facility in Chakan, Pune. This strategic move by the company significantly reduces import dependency while boosting local manufacturing capabilities.

Also on display were advanced electric machinery, including the electric mining dump truck, electric forklifts, and terminal tractors, designed to minimize environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency across industries.

He informed that SANY India is very committed to localization as it helps them manage their inventory, improve their capability and capacity, increase profitability by reducing their sourcing costs, and reduce lead times. “Besides which, the government has been instrumental in supporting localization and thereby creating employment opportunities. MSMEs have grown substantially, and they have brought us significant benefits in terms of skill development.”

As regards smart construction equipment, he informed that the CE industry has advanced further with electrification. “At SANY India, we have been actively working on electrification over the past two years. We have developed electrified port machinery, electrified mining dumpers, and a few models of electrified excavators. We are also coming up with a commercial electric truck segment in India.”
