The game changing inclusive housing policy 'My Home, My Right' - the first in two decades, presents a very comprehensive blueprint, aimed at constructing 35 lakh homes for the vulnerable sections of society. These include the economically weaker and low-income communities, industrial workers, women, students. and senior citizens. Supporting homebuyers, developers, and other stakeholders across the housing system, the policy aims to construct 35 lakh affordable homes by 2030, at an investment outlay of INR 70,000 crores by promoting EWS & LIG housing, slum rehabilitation and redevelopment to address the huge housing shortages.
