This state-of-the-art manufacturing capability, with a 6-meter width, is among the first of its kind in South and Southeast Asia, positioning us as a regional leader in geosynthetics innovation.
With governments emphasizing sustainable growth and advanced infrastructure, our pavement optimization grids are designed to meet the highest quality standards while enhancing efficiency and durability. We have a budget lined up of over half a million USD to put our grids through an extensive and lengthy testing and certification process which will position CTM as a caterer for countries and clients across the globe. These solutions not only support sustainable construction practices but also help our clients achieve cost optimization and long-term performance in their projects.
What challenges do you face in promoting the adoption of high-quality geosynthetics in infrastructure projects, and how does CTM address concerns about cost and material selection?
One of the biggest challenges in our industry is the tendency of some clients to opt for slightly cheaper products despite a marginal quality difference. Geosynthetics, unlike many other construction inputs, play a highly technical and critical role in infrastructure projects. These products are specified only after an extensive R&D process, ensuring they meet stringent performance requirements.
When substandard materials are used, the consequences can be severe. Not only does it risk the success of the project, but it can also tarnish the reputation of advanced materials as a whole, leading to poor adoption of innovative solutions.

Over the next five years, we aim to achieve a CAGR of over 20%, driven primarily by our geosynthetics and new material-based developments (NMBD).
