Metro-rail
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $190 million loan to support the Indore Metro Rail Project in Madhya Pradesh. The initiative aims to enhance urban mobility, cut pollution, and promote inclusive growth.

The financing will enable construction of an 8.62-km underground metro line with seven stations, linking congested areas of Indore to the airport. The metro will feature modern, accessible infrastructure with ramps, lifts, CCTV surveillance, and emergency response systems to cater to the elderly, women, children, and persons with disabilities. The project is expected to help significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions.
