LJP Construction Expands Fleet with Liebherr LTR 1150 Telescopic Crawler Crane

Canadian formwork specialist LJP Construction has strengthened its fleet with the addition of the Liebherr LTR 1150, a 150-tonne telescopic crawler crane launched in 2023.

“We instantly knew that it would fit our fleet perfectly,” said Axel Côté, Operations Manager, LJP Construction, noting that the company already operates an LTR 1060 with high satisfaction. “To handle the growing demands, the 150-tonne crane is going to be the perfect addition to our fleet. Thanks to its impressive load charts, it can carry out a wide range of tasks and yet remain compact and flexible on site.”

The LTR 1150 combines power with advanced technology, offering cost-efficient transport and enhanced lifting performance. A highlight is the integration of Liebherr’s VarioBase® technology, which optimises lifting capacity in real time based on track width and rotation angle. “This was a key factor behind our purchase,” Côté added.

LJP Construction has been a customer of Liebherr since 2009 and now has some 21 tower cranes, twelve mobile cranes, a crawler crane and other products from the group such as concrete pumps, wheel loaders and telescopic handlers.
