ITA-AITES Invites Applications for Head of Communications Role

The International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA-AITES) has announced an opening for a Head of Communications, a strategic role aimed at shaping and amplifying the Association’s global presence as it continues to champion sustainable underground solutions across 81 Member Nations.

The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive communication strategy, strengthening both internal and external messaging. Responsibilities will include overseeing press releases, newsletters, media partnerships, and digital platforms, while ensuring editorial quality and enhancing stakeholder engagement.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Head of Communications will also spearhead branding and visibility efforts for flagship events such as the ITA World Tunnel Congress and ITA Tunnelling Awards. The position offers a flexible, remote working arrangement with a start date of 1st March 2026.
