GACE Steps Up Global Climate Action with Decarbonization Drive

In line with global efforts toward sustainable development and poverty eradication, the Global Alliance for Construction Equipment (GACE) has reaffirmed its commitment to combating climate change by promoting decarbonization across the construction equipment industry.

GACE aims to:

• Advance Low-Carbon Technologies: Develop and share technologies for decarbonizing the sector, including electric, battery, hybrid, hydrogen, and other alternative fuel-powered equipment, along with energy-efficient solutions for diesel-powered machinery.
• Advocate Infrastructure Development: Urge governments to invest in charging and storage infrastructure to support the industry’s transition to low-carbon operations.
• Promote Global Standards: Encourage harmonization of regulations and adoption of international voluntary standards to ensure safety, quality, and performance of alternatively powered machines and fuels.
• Support Public Incentives: Endorse incentives in public projects to accelerate the adoption of decarbonized construction equipment.
