Haryana CM Announces ₹380 Cr Development Package for Ambala

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced a ₹380 crore development package for Ambala, focusing on infrastructure upgrades and essential amenities. The announcement was made during the state-level Teej festival in Ambala City.

Of the total allocation, ₹145 crore will be used to expand the city's water distribution network. An additional ₹40 crore has been sanctioned for a 9 MLD (megalitres per day) water treatment plant in Sector 24. To address infrastructure concerns, ₹60 crore has been earmarked for repairing damaged patches along both sides of the Satluj-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal.
