Mr. Shetty brings over three decades of global leadership experience to the role, having led strategic initiatives in manufacturing, sustainability, and future-ready technologies. As President-Designate of ICEMA during the 2023–25 term, Mr. Shetty played an active role in shaping the industry’s sustainability roadmap, contributing significantly to dialogues around clean energy transition, skilling, and export competitiveness. A vocal proponent of “Make in India” and infrastructure-led growth, Mr. Shetty envisions ICEMA playing a larger role in driving strategic partnerships, enhancing global collaboration, and advocating robust policy frameworks to support the Indian Construction Equipment (CE) industry's growth.

Mr. Ramesh Palagiri, Managing Director & CEO, Wirtgen India Pvt. Ltd., has assumed the role of President-Designate of ICEMA for 2025–27.

A seasoned industry veteran, Mr. Palagiri has led transformational initiatives in the infrastructure and equipment space. As Convenor of ICEMA’s SMART Infra Panel, he championed efforts to deepen the adoption of advanced technologies, enhance equipment intensity in major infrastructure projects, and expand CE exports through greater market access. His leadership is expected to further ICEMA’s focus on strategic engagement with EPCs, central ministries, and multilateral stakeholders to drive inclusive and sustainable CE industry growth.

Mr. Shalabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director – India & SAARC, CASE Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd., has assumed the role Vice President of ICEMA for 2025–27.

As Convener of ICEMA’s Human Capital Panel, he led the industry’s first Human Capital Summit and the release of the CE Human Capital Trends Report 2024–25. His work has focused on building a tech-ready workforce, advancing DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), and fostering collaboration between industry, academia, and skilling institutions like IESC. As Vice President, he brings deep insight into workforce transformation, inclusion, and skilling for Industry 4.0.

Mr. Sitaram Ganeshan, President – Wipro Hydraulics, Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, has assumed the role of Treasurer of ICEMA for the term 2025–27.

Mr. Ganeshan brings extensive expertise in hydraulics and component innovation. As Co-Convener of the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Panel, he played a key role in driving policy advocacy related to localisation, ease of procurement, and supplier development. His work has significantly contributed to ICEMA’s efforts in shaping the National Capital Goods Policy 2025 and facilitating the launch of the first-ever CE Purchase Managers' Index (PMI).

Together, the new leadership team represents a strategic blend of innovation, operational excellence, and policy foresight. Their combined experience will be critical in advancing ICEMA’s mandate of making India the second-largest CE market globally by 2030, aligned with the nation’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision and infrastructure transformation goals.
