The International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA), in collaboration with the Tunnelling Association of Canada (TAC), will host the ITA World Tunnel Congress 2026 in Montréal, Quebec, from May 15 to 21. The event is a premier gathering for professionals involved in the planning, design, and construction of underground infrastructure, including roads, railways, hydro projects, water and wastewater systems, flood control, and urban planning.

Under the theme “Connecting Communities Through Underground Infrastructure,” the Congress will feature technical sessions, discussions, and workshops covering all aspects of underground space development.
