Kavi Subhash Metro Station Reconstruction to Be Completed in 9 Months: Metro Railway

Kavi Subhash Metro Station

Metro Railway has announced that it aims to complete the reconstruction of the Kavi Subhash metro station within nine months. Dismantling work began on Wednesday, starting with the removal of the station’s roof. Electrical, signaling, and telecom (S&T) equipment that can be reused after reconstruction have also been removed.

The decision follows a detailed structural assessment, with RITES recommending the execution scheme for rehabilitating the damaged Up platform. The rehabilitation plan includes removal of roof sheeting, dismantling of roof trusses, platform columns, and slab, followed by full reconstruction of the Up platform.
