NTPC CMD Shri Gurdeep Singh Honoured with Individual Leadership Excellence Award

Shri Gurdeep Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, NTPC Ltd., has been conferred with the Individual Leadership Excellence Award at the SCOPE Eminence Awards held in New Delhi.

The award was presented by Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, at Vigyan Bhawan, in the presence of Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance; Shri K. Moses Chalai, Secretary (Department of Public Enterprises); Shri K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman (SCOPE); and senior leaders of various CPSEs.

This recognition highlights Shri Singh’s visionary leadership in driving NTPC’s energy transition, strengthening its clean energy portfolio, and positioning the company as a frontrunner in sustainable power generation. Under his stewardship, NTPC has accelerated innovation, diversification, and adoption of new-age technologies to meet its ambitious renewable energy goals

With an installed capacity of 83 GW and 30.90 GW under construction—including 13.3 GW of renewable capacity—the company is firmly progressing towards its target of 60 GW renewable energy capacity by 2032.
