VECV August 2025 Sales Rise 9.5% to 7,167 Units on Strong Eicher Growth

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors) reported sales of 7,167 units in August 2025, up 9.5% from 6,543 units in August 2024. The total includes 6,924 units of the Eicher brand and 243 units of the Volvo brand.

Eicher trucks and buses recorded 6,924 units in August 2025, a growth of 10.2% over 6,283 units last year. Domestic sales stood at 6,331 units, up 5% from 6,028 units in August 2024, while exports surged 132.5% to 593 units compared with 255 units a year ago.

Volvo trucks and buses, however, saw a decline of 6.5%, selling 243 units in August 2025 compared with 260 units in the same month last year.
