AAI Invites Bids for ₹179.47 Cr Expansion of Shillong Airport

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids for a ₹179.47 crore expansion project at Barapani (Shillong) Airport in Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya. The project will be executed on an EPC basis to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

The scope of work includes extending the runway, expanding the terminal building, developing the apron, constructing an essential services building (ESS), and building allied infrastructure. As part of Phase-II of the airport expansion, the project will also feature the construction of the Airport Internal Communication and Monitoring Centre (AICMC).
