Delhi Govt Targets 8-Month Completion for Barapullah Phase-III Project

Barapullah Project

The Delhi government has set an eight-month timeline to complete the long-delayed Barapullah Phase-III elevated corridor project, after receiving the final tree-clearance approval from the Supreme Court-appointed Central Empowered Committee.

The corridor will connect Mayur Vihar-I in East Delhi with AIIMS in South Delhi, integrating with the existing flyover near Sarai Kale Khan to improve east-west connectivity and ease congestion along NH-24, DND Flyway, and Ring Road.

Work has already commenced, with site allocation completed for the fabrication of building components and tenders floated for tree removal.
