The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced Sam India Builtwell Pvt Ltd as the lowest bidder for the construction of the YugeYugeen Bharat underground metro station on the 9.9 km Indraprastha–RK Ashram Marg corridor under Delhi Metro Phase 5A.

DMRC had invited bids for the contract in June 2025. Technical bids were opened on 24 July 2025, with four firms submitting proposals. The technical evaluation was completed on 11 August, followed by the opening of financial bids the same day, which confirmed Sam India Builtwell as the lowest bidder.

The contract is valued at ₹206.33 crore and has a duration of 630 days. DMRC’s scope of work includes the design and construction of the YugeYugeen Bharat underground station, PD Area Ancillary Building, associated entry and exit points, and connecting subways under Phase 5A of the Delhi MRTS.

The Indraprastha–RK Ashram Marg corridor will serve as an extension of the 12.3 km Inderlok–Indraprastha corridor (Green Line), currently being developed under Phase 4 of the Delhi Metro. This new metro line will feature nine strategically planned underground stations — Indraprastha, Bharat Mandapam, Baroda House, India Gate (adjacent to C-Hexagon), New Common Central Secretariat (CCS), Central Secretariat, YugeYugeen Bharat Museum, Shivaji Stadium, and RK Ashram Marg.
