Paras Railtech Wins ₹121.83 Crore Track Contract CA-273 for Mumbai Metro Line 2B

Paras Railtech Private Limited has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for the second ballastless track contract, CA-273, of the Mumbai Metro Line 2B (Yellow Line). The 23.6 km elevated line will connect Andheri West to Mandale.
In March 2025, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) invited bids for Package CA-273, valued at ₹121.83 crore. Technical bids were opened on 22 April 2025, with three firms participating. Technical evaluation took place on 14 May, followed by the opening of financial bids on the same day.
During the financial evaluation on 6 August, bids from two firms were rejected, and Paras Railtech was declared the lowest bidder. The LoA was officially issued to Paras Railtech on 11 August 2025.
The contractor will design, supply, install, test, and commission standard gauge ballastless track between Andheri West Station (excluding station chainage 34+035.873) and ITO Station in Bandra-Kurla Complex (including station chainage 44+857.698) of Mumbai Metro Line 2B. The contract duration is 600 days.
