FASTag Annual Pass Crosses 5 Lakh Users in Just 4 Days; Tamil Nadu Leads Adoption

The newly launched FASTag Annual Pass has crossed the milestone of 5 lakh users within just four days of its introduction on August 15, 2025, providing commuters a faster, seamless, and economical tolling experience across India’s national highways.
Tamil Nadu recorded the highest number of Annual Pass purchases, followed by Karnataka and Haryana. The maximum transactions through the pass were also reported in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.
The Rajmargyatra app, which facilitates the Annual Pass, has surged to #23 overall on Google Playstore and #2 in the travel category, with over 1.5 million downloads and a 4.5-star rating. It has also become the top government app within four days of the FASTag Annual Pass launch.
Available at around 1,150 toll plazas on National Highways and Expressways, the FASTag Annual Pass offers one year of validity or 200 toll crossings for a one-time fee of ₹3,000. It is applicable for all non-commercial vehicles with an active FASTag and can be activated within two hours via the Rajmargyatra app or the NHAI website, ensuring hassle-free highway travel across the country.
