Kolkata Metro Invites ₹377.8 Cr Tender for Purple Line Extension to IIM-Calcutta

A ₹377.8 crore tender has been floated for constructing the viaduct and station on the 1.7 km extension of Kolkata Metro’s Purple Line to IIM-Calcutta. The lowest bidder will be required to build 44 pillars and the station within 30 months.

The new station will also include provisions for a future link with the proposed Joka–Diamond Park (Phase I) project, strengthening connectivity in the southern part of the city.
