Nagpur Metro’s Kamptee Road Double-Decker Viaduct Wins Guinness World Record

MahaMetro’s Kamptee Road Double-Decker Viaduct in Nagpur has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world’s longest in the metro category. The recognition followed a rigorous eight-month evaluation and multiple verification rounds.
MahaMetro had shortlisted four projects for Guinness recognition, including the 1,650-tonne steel bridge at Gaddigodam, two metro stretches of 15 km and 16 km as the fastest-commissioned corridors, and a proposal for the highest number of stations on a double-decker viaduct. However, these did not meet Guinness criteria. The Kamptee Road Double-Decker Viaduct was selected as the official entry and successfully secured the world record.
