SPML Infra Secures ₹1,438 Cr Jal Jeevan Mission Project in Rajasthan

SPML Infra Limited, in joint venture with JWIL Infra Limited (SPML leading with 51%), has been awarded a ₹1,438 crore project, inclusive of GST, from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The project, under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), is aimed at strengthening water supply infrastructure and ensuring safe drinking water for over 1.5 million residents of Dholpur and Saipau blocks.
The scope includes construction of an intake well, Raw Water Reservoirs (10 and 12 MCM) on the Chambal River, laying of 712 km of pipelines (100 mm to 2000 mm diameter), 21 Elevated Service Reservoirs (ESR), and establishing Raw Water Pumping Stations. It also covers the development of a 135 MLD Water Treatment Plant at RWR-2, a 5 MLD plant at Dholpur, cluster pumping stations, CDS, VDS, rising mains, and functional household tap connections (FHTCs) for Dholpur and Saipau.
The EPC work is scheduled for completion within 20 months, followed by a one-year defect liability period. The contract also includes 10 years of operations and maintenance (O&M) to ensure long-term efficiency and sustainability of the system.
