Asia’s Longest River Bridge Nears Completion in Bihar

Asia’s longest river bridge

Asia’s longest river bridge, spanning 13.3 km across the Kosi River between Madhubani and Supaul in Bihar, is nearing completion. Once operational, it will connect flood-prone and remote regions to Patna via NH-27, reducing travel distance by 44 km.

The bridge will also enhance access to key pilgrimage sites such as Bhagwati Uchaith Sthan, Bideshwar Sthan, Ugratara Temple, and Singheshwar Sthan, opening new opportunities for regional growth and spiritual tourism in Northern Bihar.
