NORD DRIVESYSTEMS, a global leader in innovative drive solutions, has enhanced the performance of its UNICASE worm gear units, delivering 10–15% more torque without altering their outer dimensions. This upgrade eliminates the need to switch to larger sizes, ensuring cost savings, improved reliability, and longer service life.

Thanks to optimized worm shafts with larger bearing seats and reinforced worm wheels, the gear units now provide higher output while maintaining their proven compact design. The UNICASE worm gear series covers a power range from 0.12 kW to 15 kW and torque capacities from 90 Nm to 3,000 Nm, offering smooth operation, high overload capacity, and robust durability

Available in cast iron housings with hollow or solid shafts, and options for shaft, flange, or foot mounting, the gear units can be seamlessly integrated with NORD electric motors or IEC/NEMA adapters.
