PNC Infratech Emerges L1 Bidder for Varanasi Airport Expansion Project

PNC Infratech has secured the position of the Lowest (L1) bidder for the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, quoting a bid value of ₹297.01 crore.
The project, awarded by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), includes the extension, re-carpeting, and strengthening of the existing runway, along with allied infrastructure works. The execution period has been set at 18 months.
The development is expected to enhance the airport’s capacity and operational efficiency, supporting the growing passenger and cargo traffic in the region.
