Prof. Klaus Fischer, owner of the fischer Group of Companies, is celebrating multiple milestones this year — his 75th birthday, 50 years of service, and 45 years as General Manager. Known for his forward-looking philosophy — “Only those who focus on the future will be successful” — Prof. Fischer has built a globally respected enterprise anchored in innovation, sustainability, and customer focus.

Under his leadership, the fischer Group has grown to employ 4,700 people worldwide, generating an annual turnover of over €1.11 billion in 2024. The company continues to develop innovative products, expand global research and development, and strengthen its international footprint.

Strategic Acquisitions and Business Expansion

  • 1993: Acquisition of Upat GmbH & Co. KG, then Germany’s second-largest plug manufacturer, cementing market leadership and expanding into heavy-duty metal fastening solutions.
  • 1997: Integration of ROCCA Bauchemie GmbH & Co. KG, creating a thriving chemical division specializing in foams and silicones, with further expansion planned to align with the future of construction.
  • 2015: Launch of fisco, a fibre composite pioneer and the world’s first developer of a non-combustible fibre composite material for structural retrofitting. fisco’s solutions serve construction, railway infrastructure, shipbuilding, and vehicle equipment sectors.
  • 2016: Acquisition of LNT Automation GmbH, now fischer Electronic Solutions, providing customized electronics for industrial and medical applications.

The fischer Group operates with a results-driven approach, avoiding waste and increasing value creation through its fischer ProcessSystem, inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen — continuous improvement.

The fischer Sustainability Campus trains future sustainability managers, reinforcing the company’s leadership in responsible business practices. Its commitment has been recognized with the German Sustainability Award in the Large Companies category and numerous other accolades.

The fischer BauBot construction robot exemplifies this innovation drive.
