Rajasthan CM Clears Kotputli–Kishangarh & Beawar–Bharatpur Greenfield Expressways

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has approved the construction of two major Greenfield Expressways — the Kotputli–Kishangarh (181 km) and Beawar–Bharatpur (342 km) alignments.

These projects are part of the state’s 2023–24 budget announcement by Deputy CM and Finance Minister Diya Kumari, which proposed nine expressways spanning 2,756 km. The government aims to complete five by 2030 under its ‘Vision 2047’ roadmap.

The Public Works Department (PWD) will begin land acquisition shortly, with tenders for construction expected by the end of this fiscal year or early next year.
