Waaree Energies to Supply 452MW Solar Modules to U.S. Developer

Waaree Energies Limited, India’s leading clean energy company, announced that its U.S. subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, has signed an agreement to supply 452MW of advanced solar modules to a major American utility-scale solar and energy storage developer.
The deal marks a significant milestone in strengthening India’s role as a trusted partner in global renewable energy supply chains, as countries look for alternatives to traditional manufacturing hubs. Scheduled for delivery in FY 2026–27, the modules will expand Waaree’s footprint in North America and underline the growing acceptance of Indian manufacturing in supporting the U.S. clean energy and decarbonisation goals.
Sunil Rathi, President, Waaree Solar Americas, said, “This order is more than a commercial achievement- it is a symbol of India’s rise as a clean energy manufacturing powerhouse. As the U.S. expands its renewable energy ambitions, Waaree is proud to stand as a reliable bridge between continents, delivering not just modules, but the confidence to accelerate the global transition.”
By bridging the U.S. demand for scale and reliability with India’s proven manufacturing capabilities, Waaree is not only exporting technology, but also exporting trust, transparency, and resilience. The agreement is a one-time supply contract with no promoter or related-party involvement.
With this order, Waaree Solar Americas continues to deepen its impact in international markets, highlighting how Indian companies can move from “Make in India” to “Powering the World.”
