Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves DPR Consultancy for Ujjain-Indore-Pithampur Metro Project

The Madhya Pradesh cabinet, chaired by CM Mohan Yadav, has approved the payment of consultancy fees for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Ujjain–Indore–Pithampur Metro Rail Project.
In the first phase, the line will connect Mahakaleshwar in Ujjain to Luv Kush Square in Indore, while the second phase will extend from Luv Kush Square to Pithampur. The consultancy work has been assigned to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) at a cost of ₹9 lakh per km (plus GST).
Additionally, the cabinet approved the purchase of 25,000 tablets worth ₹75 crore for the ‘E-Vivechana App’ under the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) project.
